Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed joined a group of people to sweep a park in the capital Addis Ababa.
Photos that popped up on social media had the prime Minister holding a long broom and joining the cleaning action.
With Christmas drawing near, it might interest one to know that one of the key things people will be considering is the cleanness of their environment.
The actions of the Ethiopian Prime Minister has come as a wake up call to all African nations to join hands in keeping the continent clean.
Ghana’s president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has also stated that he is determined to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa but that is being seen as a promise that is very far away.
Recently, the former president of Ghana who doubles as the 2020 presidential candidate for the ruling NDC also launched a project of joining communities to weed their environments.
