One would always expect a tough game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs in their Champions league second leg clash.
However, it is surprising to observe such huge numbers in terms of goals under just 21 minutes of active football.
Under just 6 minutes. Rahim Sterling opened the scoring to give Manchester City some hope of early qualification.
But those hopes were short lived as H. Son equalized the goal a few minutes later giving Tottenham their hopes back into the game.
In the 10th minute, Son doubled the Hotspurs lead but Bernado Silva ended their lead with his goal just after the celebration was over in the 11th minute with an assist from S. Aguero.
Rahim Sterling increased City’s lead with a 21st minute goal after K. De Bruyne gave him a wonderful assist to ensure they secured a comfortable position in terms of aggregates before the end of the first half.
Segio Aguero increased City’s tally with his goal in the 59th minute from a K. de Bruyne assist.
But the goals will not stop pouring in as the Hotspurs scored their theird goal in the 73rd minute to keep the aggregate at 4-4.
